Guide for Affiliates
The Affilitrak portal just had its first major update since we launched.
The screens look different, but the bigger change is what the portal now does.
One Affilitrak account now covers three jobs:
You find programs through the Affilitrak marketplace, which is built into the portal as the Discover page.
You work every brand you promote from the same sidebar.
And you can now message those merchants without leaving Affilitrak.
This guide walks through the portal page by page.
If you want general advice on how to work a program, start with the Affiliates overview.
One idea makes the rest of the portal easy to follow: some pages belong to you, and some pages belong to a brand.
The left sidebar is split in two.

Above the line are the pages that belong to you:
Those stay put no matter which brand you have open.
They are the account: your inbox, your money, your profile, and the catalog of brands you have not joined yet.
Below the line are your programs.
Click a brand and its own pages open underneath the name.
That is the program: the links, the assets, the performance, and the payout settings for that one store.
If the list is long, clicking See all opens the full Programs page.
On a phone, that sidebar is behind the menu button in the top bar.
The avatar in the top bar is your account menu: Profile, Contact Affilitrak, and Sign out.
The language switcher sits in that same bar.
The rest of this guide follows the sidebar from top to bottom: first the pages that belong to you, then the list of programs, then what you see once you are inside a brand.
Home is the page you land on.
It is a snapshot of the whole account, not a report for one brand.
It is built from cards, and a card only appears when there is something to show.

A creator-program offer can sit above the cards.
That is separate from affiliate programs: a brand sends you a product, you film with it, and you get paid.
Apply from there, or later from Profile.
The Needs you card sits at the top when something is waiting.
That can be:
If nothing is waiting, this card is absent.
The Messages card is a short list of your latest conversations.
Open one to go to the full inbox, or open Messages in the sidebar.
The Your programs card lists the brands you are approved for, up to five of them, each with the amount that brand still owes you.
The copy button on a row copies that brand's referral link without leaving the home page.
Click the row itself to open that brand's program.
If more than five are approved, or if any applications are still waiting, the bottom of the card links to the Programs page where you can see everything.
If you have not joined anything yet, the card sends you to Discover.
The Last 30 days card is your recent performance across every program.
It shows:
Each figure that has a previous month to compare against shows whether it moved up or down.
The chart under the numbers is commission over those 30 days, or order count when your brands pay you in more than one currency.
The details link on the card opens the Payouts page.
The For you card is a short list of next steps.
It might:
If there is nothing to suggest, the card says so.
The Balances by currency card shows you what you are owed and what you have already been paid.
With one currency those are two figures, pending payout and paid to date.
With several currencies the card lists a balance for each.
The Payouts link on the card opens the full history.
The Activity card shows your recent payouts and recent approvals, each with how long ago it happened, plus a note from a brand when one has posted an announcement.
Individual sales are not listed here. They have their own card.
The Recent sales card is the latest orders attributed to you.
The Discover card, when it appears, is a preview of brands you could apply to.
The full catalog is the Discover page, which is next.
Discover is where you find the next brand.
It is the marketplace inside the portal: brands you can apply to, not brands you already promote.
The heading tells you what you are looking at.
If the page has matched brands to the programs you are already in, it names those programs.

Browse every brand switches to the full catalog, and Back to your matches returns to the matched view.
If you have filtered by niche, the heading names those niches.
The niche chips sit under the heading.
Pick one or more to narrow the catalog.
Your niche choices can be saved so the next visit starts from them.
Search looks across:
Clear the search to go back to the full list.
Results are paged.
Open a card to see that brand in detail:
Apply sends your application.
You need a verified email before a store will accept it.
After you apply, Home confirms the application was sent.
Messages is one inbox for every brand you can write to.
A brand appears here even if you have never messaged them, and even if your application is still pending, so you can reach them while you wait.

On the desktop view, the list is on the left and the open conversation is on the right.
On the mobile view, you see the list first, then the conversation, with a way back.
Each row shows the brand, a preview of the last message, and how long ago it was.
You can also open a conversation from inside a brand, with the Message button on that brand's page.
If you have not joined or applied to a program yet, the page tells you to join one before you can message a brand.
The Payouts page shows your money across every program, grouped by currency.
Each currency block shows:

Under that, the Performance card has two tabs:
If you open Payouts while you are inside one brand, the same page is scoped to that brand, and the store column is omitted because every row is that brand.
Profile is what a brand sees when you apply to their program.

The top of the page shows your name, your email, and whether that email is verified.
Your work is the profile itself: the details you want brands to read.
Edit them and save. A preview of how that profile reads sits beside the form.
The Creator program card is the same optional offer from Home.
If you have already applied, your answers are here and you can update them.
If you have not, the card explains the offer and links you to the application.
That covers the five pages that belong to you.
Everything below the line in the sidebar belongs to a brand, starting with the list of all of them.
Programs is the full list of every brand on your account, including ones still waiting on approval. It is the page behind See all in the sidebar.

The page has two sections:
After you accept an invite or send an application, a confirmation appears at the top of this page.
Click a brand in the sidebar, or open it from Home or Programs, and you land on that brand's page.
The top bar names the brand.
The page itself shows how much that brand still owes you — that amount links to Payouts — and a button to message them.

Under that is a list of this brand's pages.
Which ones appear depends on the program:
The same pages are indented under the brand's name in the sidebar, so you can move between them without going back to this page.
The Products page is titled Referral Program. This is where you get the links and codes you actually share.
Your link is the main referral link for the brand. You can:
If the short link fails to generate, retry it from here.

Shorten a link takes any page on the brand's store and gives you a short link on their domain to share.
Coupons holds the discount codes assigned to you. Create Coupon, when the brand allows it, asks for a code and a discount template. If the brand has not given you a template, or has turned coupon creation off, you will see that instead of the button.
There are two kinds of coupon:
If the brand auto-applies a code, the coupons card says auto-apply is enabled.
Product links is the catalog. Search and sort the products, then copy the referral link on a product to send people to that item with your tracking attached.
If a search returns nothing, adjust the search. If the brand has no products available, the list says so.
Content is the Content Library: files the brand wants you to use. Filter by all, videos, images, files, or text, and browse by category.

Uncategorized holds anything the brand did not file.
Open an item to see it. Copy the link, or download it.
Text content can be downloaded as a file.
An item still being prepared says Processing.
An upload that failed shows the error instead of a download. If the brand has not added anything, the page says there is no content yet.
This page only exists when the brand runs a network program. The brand may call it something other than MLM. The heading and the line under it say you are tracking network performance and growth.
Across the top are four figures:

The network referral link is for recruiting other affiliates, not for sending shoppers to a product. Share it and you earn from the sales those people make. Copy the link, or share it from the buttons beside it.
Structure shows who sponsored you, then the people you referred directly. The list starts shortened, and Show more referrals expands it. If you have not referred anyone, it tells you to share the link.
Recent commissions lists network commission already credited to you: the level, who it came from, and the amount.
Program information describes the network the brand set up: the name, the description, how many levels deep it pays, and any referral bonus.
Inside a brand, Performance is that brand's numbers only. The summary across the top is unpaid orders, earnings for the period, and payouts for the period.

The card below has the same tabs as the account-wide Payouts page:
Program preferences is the settings page for this one brand. It does not change your Affilitrak profile, and it does not change how another brand pays you.
Profile settings is your name and email on this membership. Save profile stores them.

Payout preferences is how this brand pays you. If you have not set it up, start with Set up payout details.
The method is whatever that brand offers. That might be:
If the brand has not turned on any payout method, the page says so and tells you to contact them. Click Save payout preferences when the details are filled in.
Email notification settings has three switches:
Click Save notification preferences after you change them.
If the brand added their own questions, those appear as a form under the notifications. Required questions have to be answered before you can submit. Once you have submitted, you can edit the responses and update them.
Start on Home and clear anything sitting in Needs you.
Then open Discover, apply to a brand that fits, and set up payout details in that brand's Program preferences before you share a link.
The pages above the line are yours.
The pages below the line belong to a brand.
Once that split is clear, the rest of the portal is easy to find your way around.
One last thing to note is that if you have any issues with the portal or the marketplace, you can contact the Affilitrak Support team

You'll see the option when you go to the upper right corner of the portal page, click on yor profile, then hit the contact Affilitrak button
