Affiliates

• Use Programs: Go to programs in the app > hit the create program button (default rate + optional fixed amount).
• Assign affiliates to a program tier; that tier sets their commission. You can also auto-assign all affiliates to a program by going to Settings > New affiliates > Toggle on "Auto-assign program to new affiliates" > Select the program you want.
• In Settings, choose whether tax and shipping count in the commission base.

Yes. Under Programs, create a multi-level (MLM/network) program: set number of levels, commission type (order amount vs commission from level below), and rates per level. Assign the multi-level program you just created to a commission program; affiliates in that tier can have parents and earn upline commissions. The Programs guide goes deeper into MLM and network program setup.

Yes. Use performance-based ladder rules: define tiers, then rules that promote affiliates when they hit a threshold (e.g. X amount approved orders or $X approved sales). They’re moved to the higher tier automatically. See Programs for the full ladder strategy and setup flow.

• On the app: Go to Programs → Coupons → create a coupon template (discount type, value, etc.). Then create actual codes from that template (per affiliate or in bulk).
• Affiliate: From their profile/coupon manager, pick a template and enter a code; the app creates the Shopify discount and links it to them.

Go a tier/program settings or affiliate’s commission rules, select products/collections and choose exclude (those earn 0%) or include-only (only those earn; everything else earns nothing).

Yes. In tier or affiliate commission rules, set per-product or per-collection percentage and/or fixed amount. For a given item, Affilitrak uses a fixed dollar amount if one is set; otherwise it uses the percentage rate. Items without a rule use the default rate.

By default, no. Commission starts from the order’s line-item base (not tax/shipping unless you turn those on). Order discounts also reduce the commission base (line items are scaled by discounts before percentage commission is applied). In Settings → Business Settings you can turn on “Include tax/VAT in commission calculation” and/or “Include shipping in commission calculation” to add them to the base.
